Q: Do I need to have an appointment to see a vet or vet nurse?
Yes, patients are seen by appointment only. Please phone us to book. You can also email too but we prefer to speak with you to make sure you have the appointment you need.
Q: What happens if my pet needs an operation?
Your vet will talk to you about why surgery may be necessary, what the operation will entail and when it will take place. You will be asked to keep your pet from eating and drinking in the hours be-fore the operation (just like you’d expect with any human operation where nil by mouth is essential before anaesthetic is given).
Q: What is the cost of a trip to the vets?
This depends on the nature of your visit. At Wellpets we’re a firm believer in giving value for money. The prices for treatments are readily available upon request from a member of our veterinary team, and we will always give you an estimate of costs before treating your pet.
Q: When and how do I pay for treatment?
All payment is required at the time of your visit, even if you will be asking your insurance company to pay for the treatment. We accept most debit and credit cards and card payments can be made over the phone.
Q: Do I need Pet Insurance?
Pet insurance brings you the peace of mind that you can afford professional and sometimes costly veterinary help for your pet should it be needed.
Q: Do you board pets?
Unfortunately this is not a service we currently offer, however, it is something we would like to offer in the near future.
