Meet The Team - Yetminster

Our Yetminster branch is definitely the most quaint of all our surgeries. The building is an ex-telephone exchange and sits amidst the beautiful countryside of Dorset. We have a large variety of interesting patients including working dogs and barn cats.

Modestas Tverskis MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon

Hi my name is Modestas Tverskis and I qualified as a Vet in 2001. I really enjoy the rapport that I have both with the clients and obviously, their pets. I like the fact that every day is different, and every animal brings its own challenges and joys to myself and the staff here. I look forward to meeting you and your pets in the future. Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym, reading, photography and eating Chinese food!

Yvonne Eaves – Part Time Vet

I qualified as a vet in 1973 from Liverpool University. After working in several practices here in the South West, I returned to Yorkshire and bought a practice which I had for 19 years. After this time, I sold the practice and returned to Somerset and bought a new practice here. After several years, I then sold this practice and became semi-retired, and did part time locum work. I now work at Wellpets part time, usually one day a week but also cover full time when needed. I am married with two grown up daughters, and outside of work my life pretty much revolves around my horses and the smallholding I own.

Evelina Saveljeva – Veterinary Nurse

Hello my name is Evelina. I really enjoy my job, and love working with all types of animals. One of the best parts of my job is seeing a sick animal go home well and recuperated, and especially seeing the joy on the owner’s faces when they are reunited with their pet. I have always wanted to work with animals and I am very fortunate to say I do a job that I love.

Inga Jevdokimovaite – Veterinary Nurse

Hello my name is Inga. I have always dreamt of working with animals since I was a little girl. Now I can say my dream has come true! I love this job, because every day I see different animals and each of them are adorable in its own way. I enjoy taking care them and making their stay as welcoming as it can be. When I’m not working I enjoy traveling, reading and hiking.

Shell (Michelle) Dent – Practice Co-Ordinator

Hello, my name is Michelle and I am the Practice Co-Ordinator here at Yeovil. I have always wanted to work with animals in one form or another and now I do! I can honestly say this is my dream job. I am very fortunate, I love coming to work every day, and I enjoy interacting with the clients and their pets. At home, I live with my husband, and a cat who rules the roost! I am very passionate about the rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife. Quite often, I end up doing a trip to the local wildlife rescue centre after work, with a bird or animal that has been brought into the practice during the day! And there have been times in the past, where I have been lucky enough to be asked to release the animals when they have been rehabilitated, which is an honour and joy. So you can see, this is not just a job for me at Wellpets, it’s a way of life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
